The lines between you and everyone else can feel blurry, and if you figure out what you need, it often arrives too late. Burnout cycles are getting shorter and recovery never quite finishes. Perhaps you've finally got some answers: ADHD, Autism, complex trauma, chronic health conditions, but you're not sure where to start in finding who you are beneath the exhaustion of masking and adapting to others. There's a longing to feel like you, to feel alive in a life that's yours, but "who am I?" and "what do I need?" have no solid answer – yet.
The Self Belonging Studio exists for people with highly adaptive nervous systems who find themselves in the in-between spaces between who they had to be and who they actually are.
When you're ready to turn inward for the answers, develop self-care that actually sticks the landing, and learn ways to navigate towards your true Self when, you know, life happens, we have the compass and the map.

I created the Self Belonging Studio after years of finding my way back to myself, again and again... and again. It's not a tidy recovery story, just the real one where the actual wins are finding the ways to show up for yourself on the good days and the hard days, with better relationships, support, and a practice of returning to the path towards my inner Self when life pulls me off track.
Neurodiversity-affirming world views and practices are the baseline around here, not an add on
Lived experience + fancy uni quals + somatic modalities like kinesiology and EFT for the full wrap around in one place
Find Your Own Version. Translation: I'm not here to teach you to do life my way; I'm here to help you understand what's possible when you discover your way

Self-belonging (verb) /sɛlf bɪˈlɒŋɪŋ/
Self-belonging is the practice of being in right relationship with your Self as an equal, necessary foundation for belonging in the world. It's the bridge built between your inner and outer world, supporting your highly adaptive system to find its own version of healing, connection, and alignment.
It isn't a destination or a box to check. It's a practice of returning — again and again — to yourself, especially when things get tough.
Early in life, your system was smart enough to learn that adapting to the outside world meant staying safe, fitting in, and achieving something you thought might be belonging.
And it worked.
Sort of.
But it also came at a cost that the adult you can't keep paying.
That focus outward meant learning how to connect to and listen (attune) to your inner self was never the priority of your development,
and if there's less solid sense of self, there's less self to care for.
So instead, you learned to leave yourself. To override your body, perform the acceptable version, earn love and safety by disappearing a little at a time, until even you believed your system's adaptations were you....
If you just tried harder. If you just figured out what everyone else knows, that is.
The paradox is this: the more you belong to yourself, the more you can belong with others. Separate selves connect, not smoosh together.
Self-belonging isn't about becoming more independent or needing people less; it's about building a reliable internal relationship (often for the first time). One of safety, support, and loyalty to yourself, so you can grow, change, and connect without abandoning your own needs, limits, or identity in the process.

- Know what you need before your body crashes, not after
- Have clarity instead of criticism for the ways your system sought safety
- Feel close to people without disappearing into them
- Find your own version of tools, systems, and lifestyle that are correct for your neurotype and nervous system
- Finally answer "what do I need?" and "who am I?" without it being about who you are to others
- Give yourself rest and self-care without earning it first
- Have a clear practice of returning to your Self as your source of comfort, care, and compassion when life gets hard.
Self Belonging Mentoring uses a developing compass system, one built from years of study in psychology, energy medicine, kinesiology, somatic practices and (neuro)developmental education, plus hundreds of client sessions and lived experience.
Self belonging as a practice is the missing piece that makes everything else you've tried finally work together, supports you to feel closer to people without losing yourself in them, and learn ways to return to a Self that is familiar and kind when life's challenges and uncertainties come your way.
If you've got a highly adaptive nervous system (aka masking, people pleasing and performing OKness, but also struggling to do more than survive), Self Belonging might be the practice that finally helps it all make sense.

When you're ready to go on an inner adventure, I've got the compass... and the tea.

When I started working with Anna, I was dealing with burnout and stress from an unhealthy work situation.I could feel the transformation over the course of my sessions. It was so supportive to my overall recovery journey knowing what was showing up in my body and energy. I also learnt a lot about where I was at
energy wise and how to continue to take care of myself in a holistic way. Anna is amazing and so knowledgeable, and I highly recommend working with her.
